At Shustoke we offer a variety of training courses to suit all people from complete beginners to those who are competent but would like to improve their sailing and racing skills and knowledge in the sport.

2026 Training Programme
Open Day 1 – Saturday 25th April (11:00 – 15:00) – View the club and take a 10 minute sailing taster. Dress for the weather and bring old shoes/trainers.
RYA Level 1 & 2 – 9th & 10th May – Start Sailing / Basic Skills (two days) Booking is now open with some spaces available. Learn to tack and gybe with an instructor in the boat with you. Price £175 which includes first years club membership if both courses are taken. Click HERE to book your place.
RYA Level 1 & 2 – Sunday 17th and Saturday 23rd May – Start Sailing / Basic Skills (two days) Both courses are available as needed. Become an independent sailor. Then benefit from 3 months free use of club boats for practice. Price £175 which includes first years club membership if both courses are taken. Click HERE to book your place.
