Severn Trent are currently carrying out repair works to our embankments, this has meant that the water has had to be drained to a level to allow this to take place. As such we are currently unable to launch our powerboats, or even our dinghies.

We have a couple of course dates booked that we having to postpone/reschedule, we are at the mercy of Severn Trent refilling the lake to a level that will allow us to launch. If you have enquired, or booked a course in the last month or so, please bare with us. We are monitoring the level every week and will update everyone as soon as we know any more information.

We don’t currently have any courses in the diary, however if you are interested please get in touch and we shall see what we can arrange. Courses are £295 per person with a maximum of 3 candidates per course.

The course is two days long with a mixture of classroom and practical elements. After completion of the course you are then also able to apply for your RYA ICC which enables you to hire RIBs, or similar craft throughout the EU while on holiday. Well worth it in our opinion

We also offer club members RYA powerboat level 1 & 2 courses at cost as required for meeting our rescue duty roster commitments. Being a members-run club, we ask volunteers to chip in and help run racing and provide rescue cover on weekends and on Thursday evenings during the summer.
