Shustoke Gauntlet
On Sunday 1st September, SSC is hosting the Shustoke Gauntlet. First Race start at 11:30 (first gun no earlier than 11:25).
An on-line entry form is available at www.shustokesailingclub.co.uk Entry fees will be £20 per boat (£15 single hander). Competitors are requested to enter in advance but late entries will be accepted. The maximum number of entries is 60.
Refunds will not be issued unless the event is cancelled.

Races will be run under the Racing Rules of Sailing [RR2018-2020] Class Rules and the Club Sailing Instructions. All boats must be covered by valid third party insurance of at least £2,000,000 All competitors may be required to provide a valid measurement certificate and valid buoyancy endorsements. Club rules state that full wet or dry suits must be worn between 31st December and 31st March.
Please note: We regret that under the terms of our lease, no animals are allowed on the site.
Unfortunately Optimist dinghies will not be able to participate in this event but Optimist sailors are welcome to enter in other classes and we have other junior boats (e.g. Toppers, RS Fevas) available to them with which to enter. The reason is that the timing of the race is too extended with Optimists included due to their handicap rating and we could not keep the races to the required timetable with such a large fleet.
