Adventure Sailing with Nimrod 2026
Happy New Year everyone!
Hope 2026 is treating you well so far. Here's the updated Nimrod trip list for 2026 lots of brilliant miles, islands, pubs, mountains, ceilidhs, wildlife, big scenery and late-summer cruising.
If we've already chatted about you joining a trip, just jump into the relevant chat and say hi. If you're interested in something new this year, amazing would love to have you aboard.
All trips are non-commercial and cost-share only just sharing the fun, the adventure and the bills. An early indication of who wants to join really helps with planning; without crew on some of these legs there's a chance they simply won't run so please shout early if something grabs you!
2026 Season
10-19 Apr - France - Early-season adventure with proper miles, food, wine and harbours.
01-04 May - Purbeck BH weekend - Local coastal cruising and pub stops relaxed and sociable.
21-26 May - Channel Islands - Classic Channel passages + island time and good evenings ashore.
05-13 Jun - Scillies (Week 1) - Solent Scillies with time to explore anchorages.
14-21 Jun - Scillies Dublin (via Lundy) - One of the gems includes optional sea-cliff climbing on Lundy if we get the team!
22-26 Jun - Dublin (ashore) - Time in Dublin for rotation, rest, pints and music.
26 Jun - 05 Jul - Dublin Oban - Big scenery, Rathlin, Jura, islands and a superb approach into Oban.
09-13 Jul - Scotland long weekend - West-coast hop, anchorages + pubs. Easy and fun.-
18-26 Jul - Inner Hebrides + Mull Games - Headline week islands, beaches, wildlife + Mull Highland Games.
27 Jul - 02 Aug - Hebrides Week 3 - Quiet islands, long evenings, wildlife and great anchorages.
08-16 Aug - Scottish Ceilidh & Games Week - Music, ceilidhs, local events and culture great atmosphere.
22-31 Aug - Scotland Mountains & Boats Week - Sail climb sail again. Stunning views and proper adventure.
Sept (3 weeks) ScotWest coast - Solent - A beautiful late-summer return south, often warm and settled, amazing light, empty anchorages and proper cruising miles.

Footnote by Geoff Johns - I have sailed and raced many miles with Paul on Wild Spirit and Nimrod since about 2012. He is a most accomplished and safe adventure skipper and boat owner. Nimrod is a Fast 35 sloop and sleeps 5; she boasts the latest navigation technology and sails safely and easily.
